US apparel retailer Gap has tied up with Arvind Lifestyle Brands, a subsidiary of Arvind Ltd, to set up 40 stores in India.
"Each store will entail an investment of Rs 8-10 crore. It will include both the capital expenditure and working capital," he said. Asked about funding for subsequent stores, Suresh said: "It will be through internal accruals."
The Ahmedabad-based company has opened nearly 11 GAP stores in less than a year of its partnership with the world's third largest apparel brand.
